The truth is, we all want to feed our families well, but cooking healthy, nutritious and yummy meals on a consistent basic is really tough.
All the planning, grocery shopping, prepping, chopping, cooking, cleaning – it all takes so much time, and who has lots of free time these days? Definitely not moms!
In my household, with two working parents and a couple of super-active boys (who btw have completely opposite food preferences) the struggle is real.
I must admit, I’m not the best planner and ad hoc cooking is more of my style (provided I have a well-stocked fridge and ample of time). It worked pretty well for me before I had kids – I would just quickly whip up some easy meal or a sandwich and I was done with cooking.
